CREATURE ISLAND

Here are a few projects I created in a special effects and makeup class I took at NYU. Creature Island is inspired by the pure love of horror and creatures. The photos are taken by Rob Benevides.

Sculpted Goat God

This is a clay maquette creature that I designed. He is sculpted out of monster clay. I sculpted wings on her ears and a unicorn horn on her head to make the goat angelic and Godly. The goat was painted with acrylic paints.

This sculpture was a challenge for me to execute, but it was well a worth venture because she came out so beautiful!

  3. Created a silicone replica of my arm using Platinum-based Silicone and alginate mold.
  4. Painted realistic skin tones and effects using custom mixed and tinted silicone paint. Methods for painting: Hand painted and airbrushed A beautiful and bloody creation.

MERMAID HAND PAINTED PROSTHETIC

Breakfast

This mermaid hand is made using a prosthetic. I applied and painted the foam latex prosthetic using Melpax prosthetic paint and alcohol-based paints.

The color palette for this hand was inspired by colorful fishes and lizards.
